Full Competition Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

Eligibility

1) This promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland).

2) This promotion excludes employees of Freudenberg Household Products LP (the “Promoter”), employees of Merlin Entertainments and their immediate families, its affiliated companies, distributors, agents or anyone else professionally connected to the Promotion.

3) Purchase of a promotional pack as set out in clause 9, internet access is required. No purchase necessary for Northern Ireland. See clause 10 for details.

4) Entries are limited to one per person throughout the promotion. Anyone trying to circumvent this rule by using alternative details will be disqualified. Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is entering multiple times or using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

5) Maximum one prize per person for the duration of the promotion.

8) Entrants are required to:

  • Purchase a promotional Vileda product (while stocks last);

  • Enter their full name, email address and competition entry code found inside promotional leaflets to enter into the prize draw;
  • Winning entrants (Main Promotion period only) will be notified via email within 7 days of the Main Promotion end date.

Prizes

Main Promotion Period:

12) There are 202 prizes available to be won for use at Chessington World of Adventures Resort only including:

  • a) 150 x Fastrack Pass (3 rides)
    All FastTrack tickets are per person and cannot be shared between people. They are valid on the date of redemption and cannot be transferred or returned. All rides are subject to availability and height restrictions apply. The Fastrack Pass does not include Park entry.
  • b) 10 x Fastrack Pass (all 15 rides)
    All FastTrack tickets are per person and cannot be shared between people. They are valid on the date of redemption and cannot be transferred or returned. All rides are subject to availability and height restrictions apply. The Fastrack Pass does not include Park entry.
  • c) 5 x Giraffe Feeding Experience
    Minimum age for this experience is 5 years old. No one under the age of 5 years is permitted on the Giraffe Feeding Experience. Children aged between 5-12 years old will need to be accompanied by a full paying adult. No buggies are allowed in the feeding area during the experience. The Giraffe Feeding Experience does not include Park entry.
  • d) 5 x Giraffe Safari
    Minimum age for this experience is 5 years old. No one under the age of 5 years is permitted on the Giraffe Safari Experience. Children aged between 5-12 years old will need to be accompanied by a full paying adult. Guests must be prepared to evacuate the truck in an emergency and this may involve moving from one truck to another. The Giraffe Safari Experience does not include Park entry.
  • e) 10 x Mini Meet & Greets
    Minimum age for this experience is 12 months old. No one under the age of 12 months is permitted on this Experience. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. One free adult ticket will be allocated per child. All animals are subject to availability. The Mini Meet and Greets Experience does not include Park entry.
  • f) 20 x African Animal Safari
    Minimum age for this experience is 5 years old. No one under the age of 5 years is permitted on the African Animal Safari Experience. Children aged between 5-12 years old will need to be accompanied by a full paying adult. Guests must be prepared to evacuate the truck in an emergency and this may involve moving from one truck to another. The African Animal Safari Experience does not include park entry.
  • g) 2 x Hotel Rooms (Standard)
    Prize is for one night with bed and breakfast at the Chessington World of Adventures Resort Hotel for a family of four (includes 2 adults aged 18+ and 2 children under 18). Includes 4 x one day tickets to Chessington World of Adventures. Excludes premium bedrooms.

13) All prizes must be used by 31.10.20.

14) Each prize does not include transport to and from Chessington World of Adventures Resort.

15) The winners and their companions are responsible for any expenses which may be incurred by the winners in claiming any prize.

16) Prizes are subject availability and to the individual attraction's terms and conditions.

Catch All Promotion Period:

17) There is 1 x Fastrack Pass prize available to be won during the catch-all period.

18) The Catch All draw will take place by 07.03.20 and will include all entries received between 31.10.19 and 29.02.20.

19) No cash or other alternative prizes are available in whole or in part, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value at the Promoter’s discretion.

20) The prizes in whole or in part are non-transferable and non-refundable.

21) Please allow up to 90 calendar days for delivery although the Promoter will endeavour to send these out within 28 calendar days of winning.

Winner Selection and Notification

22) There will be one main prize draw for entries received between 24.05.19 and 30.10.19 that will take place within 7 days of the main promotion end date to award 202 prizes for use at Chessington World of Adventures resort as specified in clause 12.

23) Winners will be selected at random via a verifiable random computer system or by an independent person. Each winner will be notified via email to the email address indicated when entering the promotion. Winners will be notified within 7 days of the main promotional period end date.

24) Winners will be notified with a confirmation email. This email will include customer service contact information for any prize and fulfilment related queries. It is the responsibility of entrants to check their junk/SPAM folders to ensure they are in receipt of promotional communications.

25) Winners must claim their prize within 30 days, if any prize is not claimed within 30 days, the Promoter will disqualify that winner and award the prize to a reserve entrant.

26) It is the responsibility of the winners to provide their correct, up-to-date details at the time of acceptance in order for their prize to be processed. Neither the Promoter nor its fulfilment agent will be held responsible for non-delivery of the prize caused by the provision of wrong information. In the event of no winner responding to claim a prize, the Promoter reserves the right to not award the prize.

General

27) The Promoter is not responsible for the acts or default of third party suppliers but will endeavour to resolve any issues that may arise.

28) The Promoter’s decision is final with regard to all promotional matters.

29) The promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address, proof of purchase with the relevant barcode, contact telephone number and identity details.

30) If, for any reason, any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected entries. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.

31) Winner’s surnames and counties will be available by visiting www.winners- list.co.uk within 3 months of the closing date.

32) Winners agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.

33) The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

34) If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

35) Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.

36) This promotion is subject to English law and the entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh Courts, unless you live in another part of the UK, or the Republic of Ireland, in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.

4. To claim the KIDS GO FREE entrance, you need to present and surrender a hard copy cut-out Voucher from the original promotional mop handlewrap, promotional sticker or bucket tag.

6. If the holder of the Voucher buys a fully priced adult/individual entrance ticket to:

  • a. SEA LIFE Centres situated in Birmingham, Blackpool, Bray, Brighton, Great Yarmouth, Gweek, Hunstanton, Loch Lomond, Manchester, Scarborough and Weymouth;
  • b. OR LEGOLAND Discovery Centre situated in Manchester or Birmingham;
  • c. OR Chessington World of Adventures Resort

then s/he may take with him/her one Child who will enter the same attraction on the same day free of charge.

7. This offer can only be redeemed against the attraction gate price. This promotion is not valid for use in conjunction with any other offer, concession or attraction call centre booking.

8. Tickets can be booked online in advance using the promotional code found under the barcode inside promotional packs to book in advance for SEA LIFE Centres and LEGOLAND Discovery Centres only, voucher must still be presented and surrendered at attraction admissions including for online bookings.

9. The Voucher has no cash value. The Voucher is automatically void if sold, offered for sale or if any attempt or offer is made to transfer the Voucher for value.

10. KIDS GO FREE Vouchers are valid until 30.04.20. Offer EXCLUDES the following date: 25.12.17 at all venues, and any secondary ticketed events/hotel events/concerts/Christmas events at all attractions. Check opening dates and times before your visit on the relevant attraction website.

11. Offer can only be used for standard entrance tickets and cannot be used for priority entrance at all attractions. The Offer is not valid for any combination tickets including, but not limited to, any London cluster ticket. Offer does not entitle Early Ride Time. Please note, this offer is valid for the Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park and Jurassic Skyline cluster ticket.

12. An Adult is:

  • a) 16 years and over at SEA LIFE Centres situated in Birmingham, Blackpool, Bray, Brighton, Great Yarmouth, Gweek, Hunstanton, Loch Lomond, Manchester, Scarborough and Weymouth;
  • b) 18 years and over at LEGOLAND Discovery Centres in Manchester or Birmingham’
  • c) 12 years and over at Chessington World of Adventures Resort.

13. No Adults can enter without being accompanied by a Child at LEGOLAND Discovery Centres.

14. Entry is free for children under 3 years of age at SEA LIFE Centres & Sanctuaries; Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park & Jurassic Skyline, LEGOLAND Discovery Centres and Chessington World of Adventures Resort.

15. Other age restrictions:

  • d) Visitors 13 years and under must be accompanied by an adult at SEA LIFE Centres & Sanctuaries; and Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park and The Jurassic Skyline.
  • e) Adults aged 17 years and older must be accompanied by a Child aged 16 years or under at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in Manchester.
  • f) Visitors under 12 years must be accompanied by a person aged 18 years of age or over at Chessington World of Adventures Resort.

16. Offer can only be used as stipulated. The Voucher is non-transferable/not for resale. Any purported transfer or sale of the Voucher will render it void. Offer is only valid in the United Kingdom. Photocopies will not be accepted. Admission prices are subject to change. Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or concession (e.g. senior citizens, family tickets), reward/loyalty program, pre-purchased tickets, Combination tickets, 2 Day Pass, Annual Pass, online tickets (for Chessington World of Adventures), Q-bot or Fastrack tickets, rail inclusive offers, on secondary ticketed events, hotel events or concerts or for group/advance bookings.

17. All of the attractions reserve the right, in their absolute discretion, to refuse entry and to close and/or alter all or any part of the facilities including closure of rides and/or attractions and removal of figures for technical, operational, health and safety or other reasons including overcapacity.

18. Features and/or creatures shown on the promotional materials and Vouchers are not necessarily available at every attraction.

19. Please note that some attractions operate a chargeable car parking policy.

20. Size, height, weight, age restrictions and medical warnings apply to certain rides and/or attractions.

21. All attraction information is subject to change; please check the attraction websites(s) below before your visit for the latest information.

23. Entry into any participating Merlin attraction will be subject to the individual attraction’s terms and conditions of entry, which can be found on the websites listed above.

24. The Voucher remains the property of Merlin at all times and Merlin reserves the right to take possession of the Voucher at any time.

General

25. Your statutory rights are not affected.

26. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw this promotion or amend any of its details if circumstances make this unavoidable but will use all reasonable efforts to minimise the effect to the participant to avoid consumer disappointment.

27. This promotion is subject to English Law and its parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of English law.

28. All entrants will be deemed to have accepted (and will be bound by) these terms and conditions.
