We believe in a world where our seas are healthy, properly protected and full of diverse life.

The SEA LIFE Trust is a registered charity working globally to protect the world’s oceans and the amazing marine life that lives within them.

Through innovative conservation campaigns, scientific research and inspiring education we champion the need for plastic-free oceans, sustainable fishing, effective Marine Protected Areas and an end to overexploitation of marine life.

Every year, we work with SEA LIFE to reduce the litter found on our beaches and waterways through litter cleans held across the world. This litter is not only unsightly, but can also be harmful to animals.

SEA LIFE Sanctuaries rescue a number of animals like seals and turtles who are suffering through becoming entangled in, or having ingested litter.

Over the course of just one weekend in 2015, volunteers including lots of SEA LIFE staff cleaned over 33km of beach and waterway across the world and picked up over 1.4 tonnes of litter in the process.

UK Registered Charity Number: 1149058.

In September 2016 we'll be running litter cleans again, and you can get involved!
